Thomas de Wet
Joining De Wet De Villiers Brokers in 2017, Thomas de Wet brought with him a decade of international business knowledge and six years of insurance experience. He obtained his MBA through the University of Wales and holds a plethora of other qualifications and achievements. Thomas has experience within various industries and has held leadership roles with renowned organisations, inclusive of Dell, IBM, Santam and SA Eagle Insurance, as well as Cisco and NextiraOne.
Johann de Wet
Johann de Wet joined the Team in 2009. His BCom Marketing degree and accounting background has been of great benefit to De Wet De Villiers Brokers throughout the years. He has more than nine years relevant experience and specialises in Personal and Commercial Lines, inclusive of transport and moto-trade.
André (Senior) Schelhase
André Schelhase (Senior) has been with the Brokerage since 1987. With more than 38 years of relevant experience, one of his main responsibilities include Commercial Business. Before joining the Team, André Snr worked for Santam for eight years. Some of the positions he held include Head of Underwriting, Head of Marketing, and the Manager for a Sub-branch. André Snr is a Key Individual and an Associate member of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (AIISA).
André (Junior) Schelhase
Following in his father’s footsteps, André Schelhase (Junior) kick-started his career at De Wet De Villiers Brokers in January 2013. He holds a BCom in Short Term Insurance and is a Fellowship member of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (FIISA). André is a Key Individual and specialises in new business and commercial lines, including motor traders, fuel retailers and transport insurance.
Callie Schlotfeldt
Callie Schlotfeldt has been sharing his wealth of experience and expertise with the Brokerage’s clients since 1988. He has more than 39 years relevant experience and has been working in the industry since 1979. He holds a Diploma in Agriculture and is an Associate member of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (AIISA). Callie specialises in Agriculture and Commercial Lines. Previous to joining De Wet De Villiers Brokers, Callie worked for Sentra-Oes Crop Insurance and Santam Marketing respectively. He is a Key Individual.
Thomas Schlotfeldt
Thomas Schlotfeldt joined the De Wet De Villiers Brokers family in 2009. He holds a BCom Entrepreneurial Management Degree, which is of great benefit to the Commercial New Business division within the Brokerage. Thomas has nine years of relevant experience and specialises in commercial lines, aviation, plant and contractors, liability and agriculture insurance.
